Sparrow hawk
The Sparrow hawk is a regular visitor to our bird feeder - we caught him on the time-lapse camera.

We caught the Sparrow hawk three days on the run perched on top of the bird feeder.

The Bird Feeder

Blue tits, great tits, robins, chaffinch, dunnocks and even woodpeckers are regular visitors

The Welsh Mountaineer - August 2013.
The Steam Locomotive is No. 61994 “The Great Marquess”, K4 class 2-6-0, built at Darlington Works in 1937 by the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER), a ‘mixed traffic’ locomotive for use on passenger and freight trains on the West Highland line in Scotland. The second half of the video - with the stream train making its return journey to the coast - was taken from Bluebell Cottage.
Bird feeder Time-lapse Camera
We put a Time-lapse camera up on the Bird-feeder to watch the birds feeding. The Peanut feeder was kindly given to us by Gardman www.gardman.co.uk to try out their new Heavy Duty Squirrel Proof Peanut Feeder which should be in the shops soon.

Bluebell Time-lapse Camera

Here is a timelapse video taken in May 2013, just as the Bluebells were blooming - snapshots were taken at five minutes intervals over a three week period and then knitted together to form a video. Enjoy.

Bluebell Cottage - Spring 2013

We are having such a lovely spring and summer - the Bluebells have been so abundant this spring and we wanted to share some of the highlights through this video. Enjoy.
